Footprints by the Sea
Last night I had a wondrous dream, of prints in beach sand I had
seen. Though my feet hadn't walked that shore, I saw the footprints of my
Lord.
And when a different print appeared, I asked the Lord, "What have
we here? This print is larger, round and neat, and wasn't made by walking
feet."
"My child," He said in somber tone, "For miles I carried you
alone. I challenged you to stand - not ride. To walk and let me be
your guide.
You would not stand. You would not grow. The walk of
faith, you would not know. So then I finally got fed up, and there I
dropped you on your butt.
Because in life, there comes a time, when one must fight and one
must climb, when one must rise and take a stand, or just leave butt prints in
the sand."

Reaching Out

Bridges for
Peace
This page highlights some of the places you
can go to reach out to others. We have tried to find and present
ministries that fit within Biblical mandates and the goals of Won't Make
It To Mainstream Ministries (WMITM Goals).
There are many organizations that need money and other help, and we know
that a large part of these are worthy causes. But we believe that
first things should be first, and first things are given to us by God
and outlined in His Word. For instance, all believers are given
the mandate to love Israel, and bless her. This, then, should be
first on our list when considering where to give money, time or prayers
outside of our own family and community (congregation). Not that
you can't do what you want with whatever you have, of course, but if you
are looking for some other place to 'reach out,' these suggestions may
help.
When you are looking for places to put time
or money, consider getting with this organization. They have a ton
of programs and other avenues to put your resources to work and maximize
the fruit from your input. They are a solid presence in the Land
and are engaged in a number of worthwhile activities such as Operation
Ezra for helping the poor and newly arrived immigrants and Operation
Rescue for assisting poor Jews in other countries return to Israel.
Publications include 'Dispatch from Jerusalem,' a quarterly news and
teaching paper; 'Update from Jerusalem,' a weekly email with a prayer
focus; and 'Israel Teaching Letter,' a monthly study and teaching
